Well, I've finally realised the full potential of this album and man is it good. Definitely will be on my end of year list.

Listening to this now and I thought I was enjoying it until Spanish Sahara came on and then I realised that everything else on the album sucks in comparison.

I can see where you're coming from Adam, but I don't see that as a negative at all. I think SS is easily the song of the year & if there are some flaws here & there on this album, then the X factor of SS helps plug those gaps. So, the "comparison" is all relative.



You're almost saying that if SS wasn't as good, then you would have enjoyed the album more. That's just silly when you think about it.

Yeah I dunno but it's like how I used to feel about The Devil And God where everything after You Won't Know was like "BLAHHHHH" just because it wasn't as good as You Won't Know.

This is still very very good though, it made my year-end list ffs! Lol.

But yeah I dunno albums are always complete listens to me I just never shuffle stuff so the fact that two tracks here are perfect just trips me up slightly.

Interesting way of looking at things. Alternately, I think albums can be too consistent. Obviously, a combination of both is the best outcome, but that rarely happens.
