i thought maybe it was a trick question. meta. if i answered correctly it would be enough. like the butterfly effect, and who ever i was talking to would convince the band to write some thing.

they're nihilists tho so really "what's the point of anything" would probably have been a pretty good rebuttal

this always seemed like something i'd like but i heard one song by them and it was fucking awful and i assumed after a certain point that i should revisit it cause i figured my taste had probably grown but then i went back to it and it was still bad and thats my story with this band

my eventual response was "what was the point of desperate living. if you guys still enjoy making music why not have it paid for upfront. if you just don't have the pasion anymore, that's understandable but would be a shame considering where you guys are creatively."
