For instance, I think happiness is a fucking pile, while this is probably my favorite album from any band ever.

Seriously? I'd rather have somebody tell me "hey, if you didn't dig this, then you might like this a bit more" than someone say "yeah, everybody has different opinions so just go your own route." Seriously, how helpful is that? It almost contradicts the point of being on a review-based music website in the first place, let alone one with an aggregated rating system.
