I can't advocate that, listening to earlier AC just made my head spin (and not in a good way at all). I fell in love with MPP through repeated listens, not through expanding my AC exposure. But to each their own, I suppose?

it's not really polarising, i think that's a bit of a copout and just something people say. i just dont think its AS good as some people, and i think a lot of others are the same. idk that too many people hate it.

I had to start from the beginning to see what was so good about this, but now I like Sung Tongs the most out of any AC. I would say do the same, start with Sung Tongs then work forward, don't worry about the early early stuff like Spirit and Indian.

i think listening to older animal collective helps make this album more enjoyable because you start to realize how accessible this album really is in comparison
that being said i am also very confused at the polarizing nature of this album because i really do not see anything inaccessible about it
