yeah smae, this one just feels more satisfying as a whole for some reason. the other one seems to have a few more flaws, but when it's good it's really fucking good

shit man, nice. I ordered copies of the remasters of Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi, which should show up in a few days. I got Closer the other day (lots of surface noise, so I'm currently cleaning it up to see if it sounds any better), the Chvrches LP that I've passing up on for months, and I'm considering on finally paying for an OP of Disco Volante with the 7", all in NM- condition (the guy wants $80). Also trying to finally get the bank situation sorted out so I can send this stuff out finally, but i don't when I'll be able to get to it.

It's been the opposite for me lately. Most of the stuff I listen to online now since school started back up has been new stuff and/or recs.

yeah, i was at work during the initial pre-order date, but got my record store owner to do it for me. Was looking to get the green pressing, but it ran out, so I settled for the white. Pretty hype to get it.
|
| |
sweet, I was planning on the 180 or the green but those sold out while I was sleeping (different time zone)

shit man, that sucks. Kind of cool that it's now available to anyone, but it's just the standard version. Don't know the difference between that and the 180-gram version though besides the obvious weight difference.
|
| |
idk 180g supposedly lasts longer, and DC is pretty much a daily homework/study jam for me so I would want the thing to last quite a few spins

yeah, comparing the new releases I got that are 180 and aren't, I've not noticed much difference in quality nor durability. Sure, it's longer lasting, but it's an excuse to charge more for the product.
|
| |
I guess yeah but the price is inflated marginally in most cases. I may go for the standard tbqh

Well, take whatever you want. Besides, I think the only version you can get now is the standard unless you order it used off of discogs (yeah, and someone is trying to sell it at an inflated price already)
