I tried hard to get into it but it only had 2 great songs on it. The rest was a pale shadow of this, but still way better than anything that came after. At least Slipknot still has some cool moments sometimes.

Yeah Slipknot still makes some good songs agreed - I dunno, I liked The End of All Things to Come, but yeah after that this band is complete bullshit.
Hell Yeah is the worst fucking band on the planet, which is incredibly strange considering the band members.

"They were accused of that but I don't think they really did. Not sure if you listened to them much but they don't sound like Slipknot at all really, nor do their masks resemble the Slipknot masks. Also band-members wearing masks was not invented by Slipknot so the whole thing is kind of moot. But Mushroomhead also spectacularly went to shit, so all 3 bands are in good company "
I remember the album with the Pink Floyd cover on it lol

That was a filler track on their best album. Kittie also did a cover of Run Like Hell. I hated it at first but it grew on me a lot over time :P

I forgot all about that Kittie cover, hahaha. Their first two albums weren't thatttttt bad lol

their doc is finally coming out in a couple months after a ton of delays. I'm fucking fascinated to watch it, what happened to that band is kind of insane if you followed their career at all (which I did as I'm a huge nu-metal nerd) and I've been waiting for the gory details for ages. I love their first 3 albums to death and their Pink Floyd cover rules. Also all my friends think I'm a faggot

Such a filthy derogatory word

yeah how do you think I feel being called that >:'(
|

Oh trust me, I know. I was called it my entire middle school and high school run, and still to this day occasionally. When you're surrounded by rednecks and you're a weird frail kid, what do you expect from these neanderthals? Definitely not intelligence and empathy.

How bout you just be my dude, let's not throw that word around any more than we have to. We see it enough with the edgy kids here.

I grew up in NY in the 90s/early 2000s and people said faggot all the time back then.
I guess not so much anymore. You youngin's are too faggy I guess (jokes, pls don't ban me, I'll make out with dudes if it keeps me here)

We're the same age and I've always hated that word, my dude. It's a lot different on the receiving end of it.

I mean I've been called that a lot too but that's fair, it's a pretty fucking intense word. Up there with the most intense.

Especially growing up as a scrawny artsy kid who sucked at literally every single sport imaginable and knew way too much about comics for that time (ahhh, before 2008 when being into comics made you an actual nerd)

Yeah it is, and I remember those days vividly. Where that word was commonplace, and the whole "That's gay" and "You're gay" was huge amongst our generation. But it's problematic as fuck. Like, I'm not the word police and saying no one can say that word, I'm just saying it's derogatory and super offensive.
