This album cover and Don Caballero's What Burns Never Returns are oddly similar. I like to imagine it's the same house photographed a year or so later at a different angle. Kinsella and Company cut down the dead tree in their lawn...an act our patient, alien observers frowned upon. The following night, a random passerby noticed a bright light and took a picture of Mike and his buddies being abducted. Being that Don's album came out three years before this, it's clear there was some sort of blip in the space/time continuum. Now that we know Mike has been probed by alien Gods and has traveled through time, Owen's supreme song-writing comes as no surprise!!!
