i love sun but hate heat
cant say ive ever met anyone with my same music tastes but there was once this creepy tall ass drifter all in black and a trench coat in the middle of summer who was listening to some bm band too loud. didnt say anything cuz his demeanor suggested DO NOT DISTURB in every way but it was interesting

I guess I forget that a lot of other metalheads don't really know other metalheads like that. That was how it was for me when I was younger but now I know a lot and it isn't really cool any more. I kinda don't like going to local shows because I'm kind of introverted and I always have to talk to people lol. It's actually kinda fun for me going to something non metal like wheeler walker jr on occasion because I can just enjoy the show without having to interact

I've seen a surprising number of 'unexpected' metal shirts / hoodies around here. It's not a regular occurrence but the cumulative results are quite interesting (not that I've kept a log or anything... should do!)
off the top of my head stuff like Dissection, Emperor, Bolt Thrower and Bathory definitely more than once, sighted Celtic Frost, Destruction (teen lass as well, lol), Conjurer, Saor, Blind Guardian etc. and yeah pretty sure I've seen Gorguts a couple of times also
there are loads of others, just can't think at the minute. All the 'bigger' metal bands have been easily covered and then some
and no, never Ulcerate, lol
