I decided that djent is like the metal equivalent of swancore. Sure, it might be technically impressive and all that but it's ultimately entirely forgettable. There's barely a single memorable riff on here and that's a huge disappointment.

I can, but there's a caveat. It's the riff in Shade Astray but it's mostly remembered for being the only riff on here that was almost memorable. It wouldn't stand out on any of their other albums in the slightest.
