Hell yeah bro. They both need more listens, but they're pretty equally amazing imo.

Agreed. I think it’s hard currently to say which one is “better” doesn’t really matter when they are that caliber.

Yeah an amazing groundbreaking artist. As long as she doesn’t say anything stupid anymore I’m fully behind her as a person too lol

"Ptolemaa" sounds like Chelsea Wolfe, lost in the woods, after a healthy dose of PCP.

This album is really nice but I have literally 0 times in my life where I would ever play it again. This aint a road trip album, it's not a gym album, it's not a commute album, it's not even a sad day album because it's more a gripping story than a relatable experience. The only song I can actually play consistently and throw in a playlist is American Teenager lol

Unfortunately I am the basic bitch that just wants an album of American Teenagers lol

God that’s gonna be legendary. I’m seeing her in a week at my least favorite venue in the city. I’m still excited but man Red Rocks would kick the fucking shit out of it

I didn’t look at the specific songs she was playing but I was kinda curious to see what albums she’s pulling from most… gotta say im a little disappointed she’s playing more from this album than Willoughby. Also not stoked to see her playing anything from Golden Age or Inbred… I did look to see what those songs were since I never really loved anything before Preacher’s Daughter. Not at all surprised to see Crush considering it is her most streamed song, but man, Sunday Morning? Really? There’s probably 20 songs from this, Willoughby, and Perverts that I’d much rather hear.

Not wanting any more spoiled than that… I’m mostly hoping for Punish, Nettles, Tempest, Ptolemaea, Gibson Girl, and Amber Waves. Waco would be cool too. All of those together are already like 70 mins tho lol.

I will say the flow was near perfect. I think the set was just fine my man. I hope you enjoy it!!

And based off tracks you wanna hear, I think you’ll be happy

I’m still very excited, tbh I didn’t really ever think she’d hit my city. I feel like a lot of artists kinda skip over a lot of the Midwest (for good reason tbh) and just think hitting Chicago and Minneapolis or something is good enough. But she clearly has an audience here, the venues sold out. But the flip side is that my town doesn’t really have anything bigger that isn’t an arena or an amphitheater.

All of that to say that im just glad that I get to see her perform.

And I definitely think Willoughby is better overall but there’s some songs here that are just as good (if not better) as most of the songs on that record.
