"New album when"
uhhhh 2027 at the earliest? it's written but it's gonna take a lot of coordination to pull it off how i want it and i'd rather spend more time on it rather than rush it with substitutes and compromises.
from my end it's gonna be an album all about risk taking and going outside of my compositional comfort zone so a lot could change, don't want to set expectations. after the merch is dealt with imma basically go silent and just reappear when it's done so you probably won't see me for a few years!

ahahaha not gonna lie it's been a nightmare but seeing the final product was worth it. wanted to make something really cool that people would wear with pride. i didn't make money from it in the end (in fact i made a loss) but that wasn't the point i guess. in the time it took to organise everything shipping costs went up massively so my options were refund everyone and resell or simply take the hit, chose the latter just to get it all over and done with. that said now i've nailed down a good printer and supplier any future merch i decide to do will go a lot smoother. it's been a learning curve, all i ever intended to do was write songs and i had zero experience with this sort of thing and jumped into it too eagerly due to giving into the demand. lessons learned - don't be impulsive and naive!
fans were really cool and offered to pay the additional shipping costs but there was no easy way to enforce that on everyone and it wouldn't have been fair to have some pay more and not others. people paid in good faith after all.
anyway for LP3 label will handle all merch - i won't be selling my own. i'll make less money but it means i can simply focus on what i actually want to do which is write and record music. my only real aspiration is making the money back spent on making it but even if that doesn't happen it's still really cool just making something exist.
if i ever do my own shirts again it won't be pre-orders. a lot can change costs wise in a very short space of time so i'd rather just have the shirts ready to ship immediately before i assess costs.
anyway i'm blabbing, i appreciate all of you still engaging with what i create ♥
