I can’t tell you how blown away I was by this record when it dropped. I didn’t give one single fuck about this band, fun mosh music but that was about it. This EP is just on another level compared to what they made before imo.

Never really cared for Pop Culture or Laugh Tracks, it took a while but Blue grew on me a little.

This was the first KL I listened to and despite loving this one, the deep in the willow singles and the new album I have chosen to never look at their prior releases

I’d say give Blue a shot, there’s a couple of great tracks there, but yeah Laugh Tracks and their first ep are mid as fuck imo

Bryan performance is immense here. I fucking love how his voice is almost breaking sometimes like in the "I dissolve into the pain" line in Forced to Stay

video for Permanent is so fucking gut-wrenching. When he turns into the demon and everything explodes, and then that final shot. They're just burning in eternal embrace in that floating citadel. It's so unsettling. Seriously the freakiest shit this band has ever done

Love how eerie, unsettling and/or creepy most of their videos are.

THE TRUMPET TOILS

FOR THE BLOOD I HARVEST

ye still best KL but I truly heavily dig everything including Laugh Tracks and Pop Culture but those are def extremely straightforward semiheavy beatdown whereas this is an amalgamation of every heavy sound on God's green earth
