its a better song than pale iris otherwise but as the dust has settled i think pale iris is my least favorite erra song so "better than pale iris" is literally the floor lol. j think its constructed pretty sloppily. the intro riff is kinda cool but the verses go straight into this stock groove that takes all the momentum out of the more jagged rhythm entirely
almost jarring seeing such a janky song after a record with as clear and fully sought through a vision as this but i guess thats better than pale iris's lack of any flavor whatsoever. idk id really like to dig the new album after being such a big fan of this lol just feel like im not being given anything to work with (across either project)
