Pompeji gives a very cinematic breather to the album to what is a balls-out final section starting with tlid which is menacing as shit

TLID, Radiant City, and Ceremony are the best three songs on here, hands down

Yeah I've loved the T/T since it came out but hearing it in the context of the album makes me appreciate it more.

I think I'd replace Radiant City with TSOM and then we have an agreement
But then error is left out and so is Radiant city so hmmmm not sure

Ohms makes sense in the context of the album, fitting closer.
Ceremony and Urantia are sweet too, don't see how they're weak.
Pompeji is probably my favourite, Error is creeping up on it though.

Rubicon has gorgeous melodies and a very infectious chorus. Easily better than Ohms. What Happened... same deal. The bridge buildup to the final chorus and those guitar tones. Idk, that shit is just perfect. Ohms is better than This Place Is Death though

make sure you don't overplay it guys, it's a pretty short and sweet record but I've found that listening to it between longer intervals is incredibly rewarding

Idk dude, I’d say Ohms > Rubicon, even though Rubicon is great
I just find myself more involved with Ohms

Those shimmering guitars on Rubicon in that chorus make it infinitely better Imo. The chorus in Ohms still feels like a bit of a tease to me, like it's about to break into some beautiful melody but then never does.
