bruh

its a few standard sweeps in a tone no dm band would ever use

well no but by punkgrind i mean all 'core based grind. using standard metal techniques is what makes grind metal and not punk after all

a lot of the dmers wouldnt disagree with you there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) sure its short but compare to napalm death, actual deathgrind

I always thought they were a little suspect. Idealized. They don't obey the laws of gravity or tiddies. Like they hang but the nipples are too high? Whack.

>Straight up grind is generally a lot more simplistic in the riffs department, more similar to hardcore

"in a tuning no dm band would ever use"

B or Bb Standard?? I'm positive plenty of straight up dm bands have used that tbh.

I like most of the stuff this band has done but their last truly great album was phantom limb

To me that's perfection tho. You get those sweet natty chariots and I'd much rather have the milktaps be too high than too low. You don't want 'em checking out the floor like a top-down shooter.

i meant tone. on occasion but they sound like shit when they do it

>dm bands with easy af riffs right?

yea but i dont tend to score them that high either unless they use them for atmospheric purposes and it works

It really can't. The playing does. There are great dm albums in E standard, something that almost never even gets attempted now.
