I've never been bothered by the radio bits in Songs for the Deaf. I guess I can see why people wouldn't like them if they just wanted to listen to the music, but I don't really mind them personally.

Tbf if i'm just listening to individual songs from it I have been known to skip the radio clip if it's at the end of the song. If I'm jamming in full then I'm listening to them all without question.

They don’t bother me, it’s an essential part of the experience. Then again I’ve been jamming the album in full for over 15 years so I wouldn’t have it any other way now. I used to just stick CDs on and let ‘em play, no fannying around.

No no I agree, but we've been here since page 1 and it was a constant barrage of shit talking on this album (me included) so seeing it at a 3.7 is quite strange.

I was super high on it initially but sorta leveled out since then, still think it's a fantastic record. I think it could have used more synths tbh, they nailed the implementation of it here.
