falling ashes is not my fav at all i just definitely consider it a much stronger track than about half of this record. will prob always skip sugar for the pill, star roving, and slomo. no longer making time and don’t know why both feel like new slowdive songs in a way that i like, falling ashes is unique stylistically and more songs like it would have been much better than how this album feels overall. on today’s listen i realized one of the things that holds this back is that it is way too clean to have all of these songs that melodically sound very christian/ Protestant lol
