im standing by my 4.0 rating for ToG, it just feels so empty compared to most of the rest of their discography, especially where it came out in the 90s.

outside of the context of the neurosis discography its still fantastic.

I just don't get how it has an average rating similar to tsib, astns or any other of their classics.

I'm honestly feel the same but for ASTNS. It has some individually fantastic songs but has never clicked for me as an album. It has some weak songs on it for Neurosis standards.

I'm going to get cooked for that opinion lol.
