@Calc I do have discord!! How do I add people to it? I'm honestly inept at using it haha. I'll have to check out Filth's live. Did you see this by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyAQQKik0ps&app=desktop ??
@Evo and Acme ~ I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling that way. Mushi is amazing but I'm still stuck on 24ko and Undecided for some reason. Maybe just because they're the first two that popped out at me. I'm really excited to hear the newer ballads they've got in store for us.

@Lead: Use this to add me, put CalculatingInfinity#1413 in the add friend section: https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/218344397-How-do-I-add-my-friend-to-my-friends-list-?page=2
I'd personally save Filth live until you watch either Blitz, 5 Ugly or Mode Kisou. As for the new vid, the new Empire sounds like complete ass. Really a massive shame because that is gonna take over the usual Empire and that should never change. Despite that, I'm really liking the sound of Beautiful Dirt and Fukai. Unless the band take a completely different direction, a softer path in general and focusing on fun (plus less intensive songs vocally) is the best path for the band to go.

Thank you! I think I've added you ~
I'll definitely check those out first then. I've started Blitz but maybe I'll just watch Mode Kisou. I really enjoyed the way the third song on the clip was sounding but I'll have to listen to the other songs in totality before I really make an assessment. Plus, I'm still not really familiar with their Pre Uro material minus the songs I feel that really stand out. I wouldn't mind them going down a softer route at all as long as there are a couple "heavier" songs.

Despite Blitz being so good I would only really recommend it to people who have finished their whole discography I suppose, but it makes their old stuff shine. Mode Kisou yeah if you like the album that much you need to watch it.

@ Calc Yeah I don't understand why re-record The IIID Empire when it was already fine to begin with (and I can say the same thing w/Obscure 2011). Fukai sounds awesome and I'm glad the Vulgarism version has a proper studio recording now. Beautiful Dirt while I was confused at first as to why that one out of the songs off Withering. (I kind of wanted a re-recording of Kodou tbh but that's because it was my favorite off the album) it actually sounds pretty awesome now considering it was one of my least favorites songs on the album.

I don't mind them remaking whatever song they like because so many of them are brilliant and they have a reason for it. With Empire however I can see it sounding worse live, which I dread to see happen. At least with the new Obscure whilst a downgrade in studio lives up to the original live.

I don't mind it either granted that the end result is great. Unfortunately, I don't see Empire 2017/2018 living up to the original even if it were to be a compositionally faithful rerecording of the original. Obscure 2011 does translate better live than in the studio granted how amazing they are live.

Phenomenon, Rinkaku and Revelation are some of Diru's best ever songs.

All of those songs are great but this entire album is great. I feel as if Phenomenon and Magayasou are heavily slept on though ~

"There has to be a new single this year."
Indeed there will be, EvoHavok. The song's called "Ningen wo Kaburu" and it comes out on April 25.
"can't wait for the newest The Gazette's ripoff album"
I'll bet $0.01 that their new ripoff album is a ripoff of their own previous album.
