look at all the 5s. i still stand by what i said: there is way better instrumental hip hop out there to be heard. i'm enjoying this a pretty good bit lately though. bonus tracks are really good too

I don't really look at this from the viewpoint of an instrumental hip-hop record at all maybe that's your problem

sorry that isn't meant to sound ~snarky

wadlez: i did! i actually really enjoyed it. after the first track (which blew me away at first) i thought it started to sound kind of homogeneous. far from their best, but still great stuff overall. i'm not sure if it's an issue with the quality of my download, but it all sounds rather... quiet, volume-wise

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's commendable that they continue to progress their sound into new territories. The progressive song structures and ambient elements were also a pleasant surprise.

yah it's great that they're trying new things. that said, several points throughout sounded similar to the stuff they did on noir. solid 4 for me

you guys were never supposed to hear this, if that makes sense, but i'm glad that you did. never expected this to get any attention outside the fz fam. i think that having an appreciation for where these guys are coming from makes a huge difference to those of us who really adore it.
