Problem with Pavement is that they don't really bring anything new to the table.
Sure they're catchy and maybe fun, but what makes them unique? Why should I listen to a Pavement song when a Pixies is way more creative etc.
Then again I haven't checked out a full album by them, but I've heard over 20 songs by them by now so idk
