Hope this album's success doesn't completely get to Macklemore's head.

Doubt it. He just had a kid didn't he? Being humble is part of his persona.

you clearly haven't been paying attention, this guy thinks hes the second coming of Jesus because he raps about 'white privilege' and tells poor white people how easy they have it in life

I usually only listen to metal/rock, but I seriously love every bit of this album. Especially the lyrics got me thinking every time.

Opeth is my fav band too! How nice. What's your favorite album. Mine is Ghost Reveries.

This album is just really good. Macklemore knows how to write good lyrics, something that I usually find lacking in mainstream hiphop (nigga, pussy, nigga, nigga, money, I am better than "you" (who?), party/smoke hard). This guy has quite original takes on these topics which comes mostly from a more "mature" style of writing rather than sounding like you never left the first stages of puberty.

Lewis also did a lovely job producing the album. Gotta love the variety in his beats and the instrumental part. He makes every beat become one with the vocals. Really good.
