Koloss and Obzen were spawned from the same mechanical level of hell, but they are completely different hell-beasts.



Meshuggah albums are definitely seasonal for me. They all rate between a 4-4.5 and are all enjoyable in their own way.



Consistent indeed. One of the most consistent acts of the past quarter century.

You mean Break those Bones? Cause that track actually grew alot along with hearing the other tracks. Do not Look down is probably the weakest track on here though.

About the same awesomeness, but certainly different. obZen is like cheese on tomato toasted sandwich. Koloss is like a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich with some rocket and herbs. m/

Glad someone said it. When it was released everyone was drooling over it, but it's really not that great. If the guitars had been boomier it might've sounded better.
