Koloss and Obzen were spawned from the same mechanical level of hell, but they are completely different hell-beasts.
Meshuggah albums are definitely seasonal for me. They all rate between a 4-4.5 and are all enjoyable in their own way.
Consistent indeed. One of the most consistent acts of the past quarter century.

Glad someone said it. When it was released everyone was drooling over it, but it's really not that great. If the guitars had been boomier it might've sounded better.
