Yeah Ignimbrite, it's awkward as hell when one ambiance fades into another between the two songs. I honestly think Ascending being left out would have considerably helped the cohesion of the album

The first part of Glances isn't long at all though, so the fact that it comes right after Ascending doesn't really have a negative impact for me.
Also, Nicholas is the best song on the album. That shit is just immense.

I didn't care much about this when it came out, because i usually hate metalcore and post-hardcore.
But when I actually listened to the album, I was completely amazed.

I absolutely love the drum production on this album too. The double bass on the drums sounds so good and not to mention but the drummer is an animal on the kit.
