This is a fantastic essay (although I do agree that a rating of 1 is not entirely justified in your
review.) You explain precisely why I believe that the MAJORITY of lyrical content in modern music is
useless and empty. It's far too personal and vague to have use by anyone but it's speaker.
Also, I find it strange how many people fail to understand the point of your argument, as this essay
is fairly easy to decipher; It would seem that people are too butthurt by your rating to logically
consider what you have to say.

Thank you, for the most interesting review I have ever read on Sputnik!


[note: I think that this album is entirely overrated as a result of it being hyped up to be
'standard'. It's great, but not 5/5 material.]

No the review is shit because it only focuses on the lyrics which is only one component on many to an album. Surely if lyrics are all that mattered then almost all classic rock would be a 1.



Also I like personal and vague lyrics, why is making you use your imagination a bad thing?
