Alright, so I finally bought this, I was reluctant to do so because I wasn't a fan of colors, it was too much instrumental show-offing and not enough substance and it was marred with really poor transitions. After giving this a few full listens I can say that it is most definitely an improvement. The transitions (albeit still need some work) are much more fluid and the songwriting capabilities have much improved. it isn't so much multipe songs jammed together into one 12 minute epic but one really long and progressive song.
