i like cleans similar to the ones on Omnium Gatherum - New World Shadows, thats what i was practicing for. However my favourite singer would be Hansi from Blind Guardian.

Tbh I never had any interest in learning cleans nor do I now. I have kind of always wanted to have a deathcore band though; although it will probably never happen.

Singing isn't really something you can learn. You can either sing or you can't, lessons will help but a natural born singer is always going to be better

i almost formed a proggy metalcore band, would end up the singer/screamer, but somehow my guitar player found 'the love of his life' and dropped the ball. he was a gifted musician, im happy for him tho.

I don't know enough people that listen to the same music as me to form a band I'd be happy with. More to the point I don't know enough competent musicians, which sucks

Omg so true. There's some dude at my school who thinks he's a metalhead and he loves said band and he's like "dude be a singer in our band" and I knew he wouldn't want to play the same music as me so I asked him what song would you play and he said Stricken by Disturbed

it's just ignorance

there aren't many people in my school who listen to metal etc, but there is a small group of people in my year who are really into bands like While She Sleeps, letlive. and Architects. A year ago I saw a guy a couple or two years above me with a Lift Your Skinny Fists shirt on. It's funny cos he looked like a complete scene kid.

In my year there are quite a few people who listen to heavy music but none of them really love music
