mysterons, it could be sweet, pedestal, and biscuit are my favs
|
| |
It's a Fire, Pedestal and Strangers are comfortably the worst three can we leave it at that plz and talk more about how Biscuit is the sexiest track ever
|
| |
Ryus your faves win even given my above vibe on Pedestal
|
| |
dang i love strangers too though
the only cuts clearly worse than the others on me are its a fire (if youre including it) and wandering star
|
| |
Wandering Star is awesome tho :[ tbh I think Glory Box is one of the most boring tracks here outside of those 3 so my opinion here is to be taken with a salt lol
|

Album Rating: 5.0
wow wandering star is my fav from this

It's a Fire, Pedestal and Strangers are comfortably the worst three can we leave it at that plz and talk more about how Biscuit is the sexiest track ever
this is the most triggering shit-take ive ever seen you post
|
| |
Im gonna do this up for-real, separated into tiers
Pedestal
Strangers
Biscuit
Numb
Glory Box
Wandering Star
Sour Times
Mysterions
It's A Fire
It Could Be Sweet
Roads
The last three are pretty interchangeable as worst song and are the only three possible contenders and if you disagree i will come to your house and cut your dogs ears off
|
| |
pretty much everything from wandering star up is in the top 100 trip hop songs of all time and everything below mysterions woudln't even make the top 1000
|
| |
Pots wtf get It Could Be Sweet and Roads out of that shit tier you monster have you ever even loved and suffered for it I am appalled
|
| |
fucking hell johnny saying that pedestal and strangers are bottom 3 is going to keep me up at night for months im fucking shook
|
| |
*hyper-ventilates*
|
| |
Well at least we agree that Numb and Biscuit are among the best cookies in the tin I'm only going to poison half my plants out of frustration now this is your fault and the environment is going to CRY
|
| |
it could be sweet is underrated af, love beth's vocal performance on that one
|
| |
lmao. fine.
but i have to at least stroke these songs off a little bit here
Pedestal has some of the most memorable scratching in the entire genre, the bass is absolutely bottomless as is trademark of the best era of trip hop, and the bassline itself is one of the phatest things ive ever heard, the percussion switching back and forth from the assault of boom bap hip hop to jazzy ride sizzles is a perfect representation of the duality between how sultry and heavy trip hop can be at the same time, the atmosphere is crushing, and the jazz flute or whatever the fuck it is at the end is the closest thing ive ever been to sex other than sex
top 10 trip hop song
|
| |
strangers also top 10 trip hop song for a lot of the same reasons as well as one of beths best performances on the album
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
I suppose that's why I'm on the unpopular opinion of liking It's a Fire. As a trip-hop song it certainly isn't that flamboyant but I just love the vocals so much, they're so sweet
anyway dun h8 me pls, i lov the whole album
