They're all too innocent and music-related to be bumped. Where's the jokes at another user's expense? The snark? The imgur links?
Soundoffs have come a long way.

I have good news for you on the Johnny Marr front: https://www.nme.com/news/music/johnny-marr-and-modest-mouse-have-been-writing-new-music-together-3187815
Was Judy the primary songwriter aside from Brock?

I mean I’d assume he wrote some sick bass lines and they made sounds out of them probably

This must be one of my favorite “guilty pleasures”. Over the past 16 years this has grown and grown on me. Everything about this record works for me- the brilliant riff interplay between Marr and Brock, the infectious rhythm section of Judy and Green, the wider experimentation, and some of my favorite Isaac-isms to date. Would have been a great swan song for the band in hindsight. Wish King Rat and Whale Song made the cut, even though it’s already a beefy album. Love this album/5

The opener is so good I love when he screams "DRAG ME OUT OF THE SEA AND THEN TEACH ME TO BREATHE"

this is lowkey the 3rd best Modest Mouse album - really hits a groove from Parting of the Sensory onwards and has most of their best pop tracks

GIVE ME FORCED HEALTH TIL I WISH DEATH ON MYSELF
Definitely my 3rd fave after Lonesome and M&A. Parting of the Sensory is one of my faves. Some great pop tunes, indeed. Green’s dance drumming really comes into its own. I honestly think Dashboard is a banger despite being one of those songs that was overplayed (not as egregiously as Float On).

Dashboard fucks and has always been a banger. Maybe their best track in that vein?

Idk if I'm quite ready to declare this better than good news even though I have both at 3.5. Dashboard/Missed the Boat kinda does body Float On/Ocean Breathes Salty in a head to head tho lol

Good News has great songs throughout but it’s grown off me a lot over time. I dig the folky/alt country angle they went for

Honestly been a horrid year but I've been makin some moves here and there to make '24 better

Good News is their worst album, only memorable songs for me are the first three songs and The View.
Love this album. Spitting venom is one of their best songs, and the centerpiece of this album.

I mean 1 2 and 3 are 1 2 and 3, everything after is kinda just different shades of pick n mix
I don't think golden casket has a single good song though lol
