Agreed. LOL. It's the middle battles that are interesting. Although, they are putting a financial cap to try and balance out the playing field for next year, which I think is a good idea. Because right now, no one can handle Mercedes. It's over the top.

Hamilton was out with Covid for this last Bahrain race. So, Mercedes got Russell to fill in the seat. He was racing at the bottom for Williams. And once he got in the Mercedes, he was leading the pack. Ending up loosing the race due some unfortunate occurrences out of his control, but it shows how heavy the poles lean towards the car instead of the driver. They need to balance that out.

'but it shows how heavy the poles lean towards the car instead of the driver. They need to balance that out.'
Or maybe it's just because Russell is a class driver that hasn't been able to properly show his stuff because he's been stuck in a crap car? He always outqualies his teammate and is rarely beaten in the race.

He is a class driver, no doubt. But to have that much of a gap in performance shows how important the car is in winning. The playing field is too out of wack, and can get a bit boring when you know Mercedes is always going to be at the top because they're car is so superior.

First impressions...Maynard's voice sounds better than i expected it to. Danny's playing is pretty reserved so far, honestly enjoyed the heavier/more showy stuff on Undertow/Aenima. Record sounds quality through pneuma but it's not blowing me away or anything.

Pneuma is a fucking bore imo, album picks up significantly after that for me.

Pneuma was alright. I'm just tired of 12 minute songs that could have been 7/8 mins

that’s the entire album lmfao.
Descending and Tempest are really the only ones that earn their length for me. The rest could’ve easily been trimmed down.

pneuma is probably the best song here aside from CCT, invincible is where it really drops the ball

Cct = chocolate chip trip? People enjoyed that? Lol

Exactly! Lol. It's really wearing on me. Like if its length is justified, I will listen to 20/30 min songs all day...these songs do not justify it

Pneuma is just so boring to me. It doesn’t help that the bassline reminds me so much of schism
And I liked CCT as a drum solo, but my god those synths really start to grate near the end.

Choc Chip Trip is the only breath of fresh air here and also the most concentrated moment of Danny Carey doing things with his limbs lol

Goddamn this album is a chore. Like chop this down to 45/50 mins of worthwhile shit you have here and it's awesome. I dont want to listen to 1.5 hours of tool jamming in slow mo
