It’s just literally everything else is so good. The lore is enthralling, the characters have shown incredible growth, and good lord the combat is just jaw dropping.
But holy hell these puzzles are working my last nerve.
It says I’ve played 12 hours but I think I’ve only been to 3 of the nine realms so this game must be fucking long.

I like the Atreus segments but holy hell they go on too long, playing as Kratos is just simply way more fun. This whole Ironwood segment lasts way too long.

I got the Platinum for Ragnarok a couple weeks ago and it was a great game but goddamn does it not respect your time.
The shit-ass map, backtracking, slow as fuck shimmying and climbing sections... On a PS5 I shouldn't have to do so many shimmy/lift a large stone sections to load a new area.
But man, the story and exploration is a ton of fun. There's a huge secret area that felt like it could've been a whole DLC that I probably had the most fun in due to the boss fights and discovery of all the secrets in it.

Actually just started Ragnarok a couple days ago and I liked the Atreus segment quite a bit. I thought it was kind of a cool switch up to actually be able to play as him for a bit and then go back to Kratos. I haven't gotten to Ironwood so I'm not sure what you're talking about lol guess we'll see!

Attempt 8, Unexplainable, and Marisol are my least favorite songs on the album. Marisol is for sure the best out of those 3 but this album is so jam heavy that I tend to skip the two slower tracks to keep the momentum going.
Unexplainable is the weakest song by far and feels filler-y. I wish they'd have thrown something from Prologue or one of the non-album singles there in its place.
And extra thought I've had - the melody of the verses in Marisol reminds me a ton of this song by Four Letter Lie called Cowboys and Indians.
