"It started when Sitar trashed Meridiu5 for giving WDADU a high rating, which goes to show how terrible Sitar's taste actually is."
Lol! I am starting to suspect that your limited comprehension affects your ability to appreciate music.

didn't Meridiu mention DT before Sitar tho by namedropping Images?

Yes, Meridiu correctly stated that putting an album like this in the same ballpark as an album like Images was pretty shitty and then Sitar trashed an album that's actually pretty great.

Naah, I merely pointed out that Meridiu thought WDADU was DT's BEST album. Which led to this avalanche of hilarious WDADU defense by a very seriously upset Casavir.
This is the hill he chose to die on. I can't even make this up.

It sits pretty comfortably in their top 4 releases and has some of the best songs they've ever done so it's not really outlandish that it would be his favorite. Besides, you're basically confirming what I said.

Cas, the funny thing about this is that you're dead serious about it too.

I don't think it's really that shitty, especially considering nothing on Images ever really hit me as hard as songs like "Satellites", "Sentient Glow", or "Follow Your Ghost" did.

'I don't think it's really that shitty, especially considering nothing on Images ever really hit me as hard as songs like "Satellites", "Sentient Glow", or "Follow Your Ghost" did."
Well, the fact that good music doesn't impact you is something that is already plainly apparent.

I don't care how you feel about Periphery tbh. I mean they are a polarising band and they do more than enough to trigger haters. But you genuinely believe that WDADU is better than Six Degrees, ToT, Octavarium and even Distance over Time. That's just...sad.

Granted, I still think Six Degrees is good. Octavarium is decent but not worth revisiting too often. Distance Over Time is merely OK and Train of Thought is absolute tedium with the best track being something that would have been better appreciated on a Liquid Tension Experiment album.

Imagine having differing opinions. Everyone should just conform, society should just be boring. Amirite?

There's differing opinions. And then there's believing that the redheaded stepchild album that a band didn't even bother putting on Spotify is actually it's best album. Or (relatively conservatively) one of its four best albums.

There are a lot of great albums that are not put on Spotify by bands for a variety of different issues. Using that as a standard for excellence is moronic but then again, that's to be expected from you by this point.

Sad but true dat. I made the mistake of trying to listen to it. Holy shit was Dominici a terrible vocalist. Geddy Lee on glam steroids.

I am absolutely shocked that this album only has one review as of now. I suppose everything about this record was pretty much said in this thread (including the counter-arguments).
