anyone else think the girl in the red jacket looks like a puppeteer controlling the other girl?

I just hope Ian Cohen isn't the one who writes the P4K review

I wish No Control did more and I personally just wish we got a completely different closer. those are the only actual changes I'd make to this for what it is. very happy with it

The closer is probably the best song here tho

My only complaints are that I don't think the interludes do too much for the album as a whole, and the lyrics aren't as strong as on Daisy

But yeah fuck it, one of the easiest 5s I ever gave

tbh I'd probably raise this by .5 if Can't Get It Out and No Control weren't on here or were like, B-sides are something. Out of Range and/or Mene would've been great in their place.

Otherwise agreed with those complaints, Neeka.

i wish i liked the closer like the rest of you. it's not clicking with me. i love Can't Get It Out, it assured me I was listening to a Brand New album

@Grey I feel like that's the only reason why that song is there lol, one of the weakest imo

This is actually good. I thought they would lose their edge. But I guess I was wrong. The first song you hear on this really hits you hard.

Album is real good, this is honestly the album I was hoping they would make. You can hear influences from all of their previous albums throughout the album and even in individual songs. This album is like the full picture of the maturing and confused young adult that the band has been slowly painting all along.

This does not feel very homogenous to me.

The opener is great, so dark and atmospheric... and then track 2 seems like a sudden relapse to their pop punk era- wtf?

Same Logic may be the best Brand New song ever

Your right DerElefant it's not so homogenous but it's still a good collection of songs. There's just something very listenable about the album even if there isn't some huge bombastic hook in every song.
