Shit, why am I thinking 08? I stand corrected! Man 2000's are dee dee da time for me ha ha. You're 100% right Titan, I couldn't really think of many if any at all and the only one that comes to my mind immediately is Motorhead since you already mentioned Rush! Crap, that's rough to think about bro!

There's a reason why folks call these bands the best bands ever, it's not a joke..no one fucks with em'

As long as I have been living, I haven't seen it, have you? Not only that; they're well over the age line now.. and they're still bringing the guns out.. how many classic era bands do that? They usually retire before you see it or they don't adapt to the times and burn out...Maiden is factual evidence I don't even think it's an opinion.

you are correct....the 90's shift in style hurt all of our favorite bands.....maiden had strong enough roots to persevere and weather the storm.....and hit us with Brave fucking New World man......haven't looked back since

Spot on dude! They had a bump in the road, and fully recovered. Again, most bands.. can't even do that. Metallica is the backwards example for me.

they never come around by me, one of the few I would get off my lazy ass to go see

Dead at Wrigley in July, have scoped some tickets, just wondering, if I should stay home and jam a great show instead, not sure who will be playing the part of Jerry, Warren Haines played it better than Trey IMO, but nobody can be him, so it is all trending downward

I saw them when they played all of A Matter of Life and Death, it was cool but not nearly as good as the classics tour they did a couple years later

best maiden setlists are when they're not supporting a new record

i saw that show too Trebor, many people were getting bored.....i believe the classic tour was the Give Me Ed Till Im Dead tour and it was incredible
