He said he was staying there the weekend because thursday was playing two shows back to back and he was seeing both

Only saw the first one but they absolutely killed it. Gotta be one of the best live bands there is

"Met a dude at a thursday concert whose listened to this thing daily since its release. I dont know how he does it"

That's not so unusual man. Sad music makes the pain easier to bear.

Damn bubs you lucky bastard, would love to see the band live. Must be hard for Nick
to be touring this and being constantly reminded of the tragedy.

'' and being constantly reminded of the tragedy.''

He lost his son, I don't think he needs this to be reminded, tbh.

Every song off this except Rings of Saturn haha

Fair helping of Push the Sky Away too plus the classics. Red Right Hand live is unmatched

I saw a televised Glastonbury performance of red right hand back in the 90s and it's stayed with me. Absolute classic.

Shame about hawking this. Should leave it be and treat it as a wanky artistic tribute type thing but hey ho.

I imagine it's up to Nick emotionally whether they play these songs and he's obviously fine with it, he got through them like an absolute trooper. I Need You tugged on the ol heartstrings

Was it crimson open necked flouncy shirt, shoulder length straight black locks. Prowling the stage and all that game or is he hobbling about a bit nowadays?

Sometimes something gets me and I want to blast I Need You and scream from the window. Such a powerful song and such a ''teen-angst'' comment that I'm no quite sure it fits my personality (and age as well).

Maybe I did not word that correctly. What I mean is, this album was made following the tragedy of losing his son. One would retire to darkness and wither but this guy made an amazing record and goes on stage to sing this very tragedy every fucking night. My utmost respect for Mr. Cave.

S'aight-- It drags a bit by the middle. Opening track and closer are both amazing.
