'Was just looking at recent setlists from these guys, and it's like the first 3 albums never even happened wtf?!? Do they play any of their old stuff anymore? I saw them in 2010 and not one song off that entire setlist has been played recently it's wild!'
They played Crucify Me at the start of their 2019 arena tour (IIRC) and it sadly went down like a sack of shit not to reappear again. They also did the deathcore medley for a bit but they might have dropped that now. I recon they could play It Never Ends, Blessed With a Curse and The Sadness Will Never End and they'd all go down well but they've not played those songs in years (other than the Malta thing they did)
You should go see them again though, they were ridiculous at Download last weekend and made Metallica (probably not hard nowadays tbf) and Slipknot look like amateurs. Can't believe how quickly their winter arena tour sold out, had no chance getting standing for Manchester and going to have to wing it on Twickets closer to the time.

i'm at the point where i quite easily prefer their 2013-present work to their pre-sempiternal stuff

The deathcore medley was sick, but he fucked up his voice again on that tour ~2018 doing it. I would have LOVED to see crucify me live damn.

Saw them with Fall Out Boy earlier this week, they were a ton of a fun but not getting even one cut from the first 3 albums was a bit of a bummer for sure.

2013-onwards is some good shit
but i still have such a special connection with this one. longest any single album has stuck with me as much as i wanted to rate it like a 4 for a while.

It’s best to think of them as a completely different band now tbh
I don’t like the new band but still jam some of the older stuff occasionally on a gym shuffle or something
I saw them a few months before they released Count Your Blessings and they absolutely destroyed the shitty band they were supporting even then when barely anyone knew their stuff
Then I saw them at download before Linkin Park did Hybrid Theory front to back and it was just after they released Drown but before they released That’s The Spirit and I’m so glad I saw them at that point before they retired all the old stuff

Some quick last.fm analysis.
Songs from this album have been played live a total of 1,307 times and the album has been out since 2010. This is an average of 100 songs played off of this album per year (1307/100).
Repeating this same analysis for every album:
Post-Human: 153**
Amo: 153**
Thats the spirit:239
sempiternal: 320
There is a hell: 100
suicide season: 161
count your blessing: 45*
*likely misrepresented since they likely were not well tracked on setlist.fm until mainstream breakout with SS)
**likely lower due to Covid
As for individual tracks, Crucify Me has only been played live 90 times, Visions 13, Dont Go 2 and Blacklist/Memorial have never been played live.
I would argue based on the above that this is their most largely ignored/forgotten album when it comes to their live performances.

Visions is the hardest shit they've ever written and it's no contest. Music vid is so badass too.
Interesting stuff Feather, hard to believe they only played my fav BMTH song 13 times in their career ðŸ˜

Crucify Me should be the centerpiece for every live performance they do since it's the best thing they've ever written and they still haven't been able to come close to it

Crucify Me is definitely a strong second place for me. Also gotta love It Never Ends, Fuck, and Alligator Blood
