it flows well enough for me where the short tracks fly by. honestly at this point I skip Tierra Whack & Lynch and move on but I found greatness in the rest.

Land of Honey could have been the standout but once again the brickwalling ruins it for me (the dry elements take up the forefront and kick you whenever they happen), the crescendos hit and ear splitting degree, and Robert Glasper’s talents are totally ignored

I feel you on the mastering honestly rev, and felt it on this too, but it doesnt bother me too much, it feels intentional for better or for worse

I don't know if this is relevant but I love how "Theme" sounds like we're shooting down a tunnel at lightspeed. I feel like that has to do with the mastering

I really dig those tracks honestly, it's the weirdest TW has got to be so far. Glad she's doing what Missy Elliott should've been doing and better since Elliott 'came back' briefly.

Whack World--as an album yes but as videos YES--gave me so much goodwill towards Tierra. Really rooting for her

I can't imagine a dude like him isn't super aware of how the mastering affects the feel of the album.

Agree that yellow belly and fire is coming are two of the best tracks

They definitely stand out the most in their bizarreness. But there are quite a few moments on the album that are so funky, ethereal, and quirky, that just remind me why I dug FlyLo in the first place.

Takashi and spontaneous both grew on me immensely once I heard them in context and was reassured that the entire album wasnt just going to be flylo doing cheesy ironic neo-soul

I mean when I read his feat on the album announcement I audibly lol'd considering his status as one of the most consistently average musicians on the entire fucking planet so as far as things go I'm happy with it
