I gave it a 4.5 just because I don't enjoy the shortest straw. My issues with the production don't affect that much the rating because I judge this merely by its songwriting, which I consider is great. And the fact that some songs drag a lot is not that negative for me, as long as they're enjoyable.

I used to hate it because "One" was in Guitar Hero 3 which came out when I was about 10, and every other 10 year old acted like they were diehard Metallica fanboys because they had heard one. "OMG I CANT WAIT FOR DEATH MAGNETIC!!!! ONE IS SUCH A GOOD SONG!"



I still vividly remember approaching some kids wearing Metallica shirts and asking them their favorite songs. Answers? "One...uh, Exit Light..."
