I enjoy his solo album that influence is seen on here as well and yea tommy vocals can get tiresome but I still enjoy them his cleans are excellent on Melting City

Melting City is polarizing for sure. It's my least favorite here. The leading riff literally makes me cringe everytime, and it takes so long for the song to go somewhere.

Tommy's harsh vocals have always been on my biggest gripes with the band. I like (and love, at certain points), but I always found his harsh vocals to be monotone and quite grating after extended periods of listening.

He does kill it live and he did experiment a little with his screams on this which was nice

Yeah this album is filled with emotion. They pretty much dropped most of the shredding in favor of it.

I would agree but then I remember how awesome Telos and Extremophile Elite are, I couldn't possibly forget those. Telos has some of the best heavy and emotional parts, and Extremophile Elite has such a good story line, it's a really awesome song as well. I still can't figure whether or not to 5 this.

Agreed @Viral but then again this album has so many of those parts. Telos and Melting City both have emotionally gripping bridge parts. I should just 5 this.

@Captain: No problem man, glad to assist you.

on a musical level i can understand how some parts are emotional, but i wouldnt call btbam the most emotional band. but yea i was on the fence on a 4.5 and a 5 but a 5 just feels a lot better
