last night somewhere in my psilocybin fueled night "Wait" came on and by the time it was finished I was full body sobbing. probably the hardest i can remember crying since i was a kid. all the pain and trauma i've been ignoring seemed to spill out of me and it felt so cathartic.



ill have to listen to this full album sometime but for now it gets a 5 for Wait alone

hmm never saw this as particular repetive but it is a cheeseball for sure

a lot of these are built over super repetitive hooks with Big Sweeping soundscapes layered over synth by synth, and tbqh I'm not entirely complaining bc Raconte-moi was one of the most fun to jam to
I do think these vocals sound twice as dated from the early 10s as anything else does from the 80s

By all rights I should love this album and it's kind of annoying that I don't.
