I don't understand why the rating for this is as low as it is. This is much better than Fortress, so I'd think it warrants at least a 4.

The epic feel of Fortress is kinda lost here, but I think that it's for the better- there were many moments on that album that I just found boring, and they fused their meh metalcore moments in there, which just made it sound more generic. I think Scurrilous is probably their best, although my opinion may change in the future

They are developing a case of Dream Theater Syndrome in their songwriting

nah, he's much more awesome and intense on Fortress. he wails more on this and that's the worst thing he does vocally.

seriously, Fortress makes this album seem so bland and samey. Technically speaking, this album is still impressive, but the songwriting just isn't as good as Fortress. And the lack of Rhody's screams and Arif's lyrics just push this down even farther.

Not at all; the riffs on this are so much more fun. There were so many boring moments on Fortress, with a few sprinkles of greatness thrown in for good measure

Let's be honest Potato, you likely go ice-skating to Moonlight every evening

The production isn't as meaty as on Fortress and that's kinda been irking me for a few months.

Hair-Trigger and Moonlight and Dunsel are the shit though.

"...well... that is my favorite song off this"
mhm gotcha

Yazz-Flute, add Sex Tapes and you'll be set! I would say C'est La Vie but I'm so tired of it now

If you like metal at all and you "hate" this, that makes no damn sense.

BUT! This album is most definitely not up to the par set by Kezia and Fortress.

by this logic you would like any progressive metal release, just because of the genre? that seems a bit silly to me; i like this album for sure, but because it's a hell of a lot of fun

Everyone knows Keiza is the best anyway.

This album is better than Fortress though.
