All the songs are brilliant, as always.
Think it might be my favourite album of his. Time will tell.
Can't wait to get it on CD, that's for sure! =D 'Revelation Blues' is so good!

actually i don't know what you mean by that with this new album, everything is fairly upfront. what's so subtle about it?
I mean I think we have the same analysis of the album just two different opinions on it
I meant subtle I guess in that it relies much less on catchiness and that 'bouncines' of wild hunt... I think the melodies are more diverse and it brings some of the songwriting / lyricism to the forefront as opposed to the more chorus-oriented feel of wild hunt

In my opinion, it's a breath of fresh air for his music and style of song-writing.
His song writing and lyricism has always been perfect but I think now was the right time to have a sound change. Not just tempo changes but a new sounds and fortunately, this album is exactly what I was looking for.
