Possibly the best song on here.

Though it's virtually a four-way tie between that, "The Day I Tried to Live," "Limo Wreck," and "Head Down."

Classic tune but not quite as classic as the four I mentioned imo

Hell, it might even be in the bottom tier of this album for me simply because there is too much goddamn awesome material to be found here. Easily one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time

I wouldn't say this is emotional at all, at least not in a sense of having very confessional lyrics, save for 'fell on black days' probably. Dude don't sleep on this album or this band, this is a must.

To be fair 'ten' isn't really pearl jam's best album, though it's definitely their most well known. 'Vs' and 'vitalogy' are different beasts, i can't tell you enough to give those a spin. As for soundgarden, they're grouped as grunge like nirvana but they're an entirely different band, every band of the so called big 4 is.

Nice buddy.

And yeah alice in chains are probably my favorite of the 4, though it's always insanely hard for me to even begin to choose, they're all essential bands in my eye. 'Jar of flies' and 'dirt' are their best stuff, and i'm curious to see what you think of their self titled if you hear it, i think it's massively underrated, superb stuff on that one.
