Yeah I hated the lyrics on here at first, but it seems fitting to have frustratingly vague lyrics on an album like this.

He is a good lyricist, but there is no need to recycle the same ideas for 3 albums. Especially with the same words: Shorelines, metaphor about drowning or being a fish, beds beds beds beds beds beds...

they didn't recycle the same idea for 3 albums; the lyrics on deja entendu are way different from the lyrics on TDAG and Daisy. And the lyrics on TDAG are more about a loss of innocence while Daisy is that loss of innocence coming into fruition - it is more just angry.

It's heavier, less in-depth, more in your face.
For me, TDAG is like a 5.5 and Daisy is a 4.5, for what it's worth.
Oh, and it took about a month for it to grow on me...started as a 3.5-4.0
