That must have been awesome for them considering how Tool is an influence of theirs.

this is the only Isis album of the last four that hasn't been my favorite at some point. idk, it has all excellent songs but none really blow me away like Garden of Light or Carry.

This really gives Oceanic a run for its money sometimes. The first three tracks alone slay some of the songs on there.

that only depends whether or not you prefer their sludge side

Panopticon is my favorite definitely but I can't decide which one I like more: this or Oceanic. There's no side of them I prefer in general but if I prefer their sludge side I'd go for Panopticon or Oceanic but for their proggy side I'd go for this.

Hell yeah the heaviness is great but it feels so underdeveloped compared to Oceanic

They make great use of the organ here. Like in the intro to Ghost Key.

This used to be my favorite Isis, but Panopticon grew on me so much, it's hard to decide now. The other 3 are all really close too, but if I want to listen to Celestial I'll usually just listen to Cult of Luna instead.
