The Lion of Wall Street are form Sacramento, don't know if you've heard of them. They were pretty good.

The opener had a free demo, but I forgot to get it. They were pretty intense hardcore for some young, goofy looking dudes.
The best parts of the night sans music were the following:
Never been to the venue before (never seen it either), so I was looking around driving slowly on a dark street. I happened to see a bunch of young looking fellows outside a small building, and knew that was it.
All a bunch of hardcore kids with jeans way too small or jorts way too tight. One kid was really skinny with tight shorts, black and red Nike's that were shaped like low cut Chuck Taylors, an old backwards hat, and a tie dye shirt. Fuck me, right?
And then this super tiny kid hardcore dancing to the first couple bands by himself. Looked so cool.
Also, I don't own a The Black Dahlia Murder shirt, but if I did, I would totally wear it to a hardcore show (not).

I agree with Josh these guys put on an amazing show in Austin. They didn't play Said the King that
night either. They also closed with LLC as well.
For me the highlight of their set was Why It Scares Me.

It's too bad the Envy tour couldn't be here. A couple guys from TA and LD were wearing Envy shirts before the show started. Thought that was cool.

"Yeah man really sorry you missed out on that. That was one of the best experiences of my life."
Pretty much sums it up.
Jordan doesn't smoke weed, sigh.

Between songs in TA's set, Jeremy was saying something about it being hot. Some guy said "welcome to texas". Jeremy said that it was just about the humidity, and that they are from California so they get heat too. Some other guy said "y'all have weed in California", to which Jeremy quietly in the mic said,"uh....straightedge". Then he quickly went into changing the subject.
I thought it was funny.
And when they played their songs from the LD split, Jordan sang his part and on the other song, the bassist of LD sang a part (I assume it is him on the split). I've seen videos where they weren't involved live, so I was glad to see them participate. That was pretty sweet.

So someone got a shot of me during LD's set. I didn't realize how unentertained I looked.
