I just can't get into this album. Listened through it again for the first time in a year and it's out of my collection now.
They should just stop trying to be metal and just go back to what they were doing with Load/ReLoad. That kind of music fits how Jame's voice was after The Black Album and just doesn't work here.

I would be interested to see Metallica try something heavier. Not Blackened Death heavy but a bit more aggression (particular from James) would be interesting to hear.

This is, as everyone states, a brilliant comeback from the completely useless rúbbish the band have been releasing since 'Load'. It is quite the triumphant return to form I have lusted after since almost dying in response to the diabolical 'St. Anger'- an album only worthy of being forever forgotten. This is awesome Metallica once again.

I dunno, they could perhaps make it listenable! Noise war is ridiculous. Also Unforgiven 3 is rubbish and his vocals are lame.
