This album would be a 5 if it was 10-15 minutes shorter.
I love bleepity bloopity ambient wanking as much as the next guy, but eventually it gets to the point where you lose your wood and end up beating a softie. I mean, you still blow your load, but you feel dirty and disgusted with yourself because you know how satisfying it could have been.

I guess I like the Mars Volta because they are a veritable melting pot for all my musical tastes:
rock, alternative, jazz (Day of the Baphomets), classical (see Cassandra and Miranda), Latin, and
post-hardcore (At the Drive-In -ness).
|
| |
yeah, except they forgot to throw the two best types of music into the pot.
Death metal and black metal.

L' via L' Viaquez is one of the best tracks in spanish I've ever heard
|
| |
Frusciante's opening solo in that song blows my balls off, worth the price of the album alone haha

L'vie L'Viaquez haven't ever heard anything like that song... amazing stuff. Does anybody wait for the
piano solo at the end? So good...
