No, and it probably won't happen anytime soon, if it does.

The capacity of human intelligence seems to limit the capabilities to expand upon any possible creative aptitudes. Indeed, if one cannot even notice the facets that the ingenuities around him are comprised of, how can he be expected to fashion a beast of his own? This inveterate sense of constraint is a great blow to the veracity of mankind’s abilities. It restrains us and holds our minds to the ground below, averting any possibility of rising above ourselves to something greater; something not fathomed by the conventional mind. This concept of seeking to go beyond one’s self, known as “transcendence”, is essentially a gateway to unlocking pieces of ourselves that can lead to some of the most elaborate and significant creations of our world. For many, this quest to transcend and form creations that were once considered unthinkable and overwhelming consumes life. Certainly it is rare to find such people, but when they are found, creative barriers are destroyed.
^^^This is what Blackwater Park is claimed to be when in actuality, this couldn't be any more false. Fuckers.

It's certainly true. Every single track is very strong and well-composed.

According to that "overall everything", I think this definitely deserves 5/5. Big deal. 2 of my top 5 Opeth tracks are on here btw.

A 4 says amazing to me...
But this isn't a 5. I had it as that for a little while but I lost that "omg its the best metal album ever" feeling.

Sure.
Opeth has a lovely knack for mixing brutality with beauty. Yeah, some bands have done it before, but usually they come off as generic, or even insincere. Opeth is the real deal. It makes sense when Akerfelddt will growl and then two seconds later hes singing like a teenager in love. Opeth is just too compelling. Its hard to put into words as to why it makes sense, but with Opeth an opinion is made pretty much right away. When a friend or someone like that that usually hates metal hears Opeths hard stuff, their opinion stays the same. But when you break out their soft stuff (Harvest, or the entire Damnation album), their eyebrows are raised.

I can't listen to opeth for very long, unless I'm really in the mood for this type of music. But it's really good none the less.
