Unsure how LYSF is harder to get into than any other Godspeed. Anyway, it's my favorite.

Prefer F# to the rest of their stuff by a large margin. I like all of their albums, but none of them come close to F# for me.

Simply because it's so lengthy. I can't name many people that I know who have listened to 80+ minute albums, especially ones that have as much ambience/droning as LYSF. So I guess it's the combination of length and ambience/droning that makes it - what I believe - their hardest to get into.



Maybe I'm just crazy though.

Never got that into this, probably my second least favourite Godspeed album. Still great but I guess I never had that "moment" with it like I did with parts of LYSF or especially F#.

I get the wall of sound complaint too, not a lot of this sticks out to me. But, like every Godspeed release, it's got at least a few OMG moments.
